Architectural Technologist
Duncan completed his National Diploma in Architectural Technology at the Port Elizabeth Technikon, South Africa, and is currently certified as an associate member to the South African Institute of Architectural Technologists (SAIAT), South African council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP), an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (ACIAT) in the United Kingdom, and an associate member to the Bermuda Institute of Architects (BIA).
He has worked on a full range of projects from small scale residential extensions and alterations right through to large scale international projects, including schools, hospitals, and corporate headquarters for major international companies.
Having spent time working in offices in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Bermuda, and also worked on projects in Abu Dhabi and Dublin, he has gained extensive experience of new and different building methods and design features, and methods in sustainability and green architecture. He also gained experience in on-site project management and costing on high spec residential and holiday houses.
